Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment to Accessibility
Coastal Restoration Services Inc is committed to ensuring that our website is usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or display magnification. We believe access to information about emergency restoration services should never be a barrier — especially when someone is dealing with water damage, fire loss, or another urgent situation at home.
This site is designed and maintained with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Those guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define a broad range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.
What We’ve Done to Support Accessibility
Our site is built to work with common assistive technologies. Meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Page structure uses proper heading hierarchy so screen readers can navigate content logically. Color contrast ratios are maintained to support users with low vision. Interactive elements — including forms and phone links — are labeled so they can be understood and operated without a mouse.
We also avoid auto-playing audio or video and do not use content that flashes at rates known to trigger photosensitive responses.
Known Limitations
We are a small, locally operated restoration contractor, not a dedicated web development firm. While we work to meet WCAG 2.1 AA across the site, some third-party tools or embedded content — such as mapping widgets or review integrations — may not fully meet those standards. We have limited control over the accessibility of those external components but will flag concerns to the relevant vendors when issues are identified.
How to Report an Issue
If you encounter any part of this website that is difficult to use, presents a barrier, or does not work as expected with your assistive technology, we want to hear about it. Please reach out directly:
- Phone: (805) 345-7440
- Email: tony@callcrs.com
- Mail: 217 E Fesler St, Vandenberg Village, CA 93454
Describe the page or feature you had trouble with and, if possible, the browser and assistive technology you were using. We will review reported issues and work to address them within a reasonable timeframe. For urgent service needs, calling is always the fastest path to a response.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a one-time checkbox. As we update content, add new pages, or change site features, we review those changes against accessibility standards before publishing. We welcome feedback from any visitor — it helps us improve the experience for everyone who comes to this site looking for help after a difficult day.
